Photo Album Story Teller

by Ally - on September 23, 2010

Usually I write down the history of a photo as I put it in an album. That way if I forget or someone else seeing the album wants to know, it’s easy for them to glance at it and know. However, if you’re just not big on writing or would prefer to leave your voice behind instead, this Photo Album Story Teller will let you record the story behind each and every picture.

Lightsaber Wall Sconce for Star Wars fans

by Edwin - on September 23, 2010

If you’re a really, really huge fan of the entire Star Wars franchise, then you might be interested to check out what Hammacher has on offer – the Lightsaber Wall Sconce. This lightsaber wall sconce is a purchase that will keep you (and your guests) entertained many times over, since it will change color to signify various Jedi and Sith in the past, which is always a good idea since that would mean not having to accumulate different shades of colors just to complete a collection. Apart from that, the Lightsaber Wall Sconce works great by adding more ambience, delivering the famous Jedi weapon’s classic humming sounds. Each purchase will come with a remote control that will change the blade’s color, and you will need to have some of the Force to assemble all five separate pieces from the box. Powered by three AA and a trio of AAA batteries, the Lightsaber Wall Sconce is pretty affordable at $29.95.

USB LED Desk Lamp

by Edwin - on September 17, 2010

Working in the dark is no fun, and while we understand that you sometimes need to get work done in bed with your partner trying to get some much needed sleep, surely a little bit of light will help? After all, this compromise won’t flood the whole room with light, just a small section of it. Being powered by USB, you can easily connect it to your notebook’s USB port and its dozen LEDs will come to life. With the ability to be rotated up to 270° to be at the perfect angle just the way you like it, you can also opt to have it run off a trio of AA batteries whenever a powered USB port is not available. At $9.99 a pop, it will cater for your basic illuminating needs, but don’t expect to perform surgery under it.

Verizon Wireless to offer Samsung Galaxy Tab

by Edwin - on September 17, 2010

The Samsung Galaxy Tab looks set to make a splash in the world of tablets that has so far been dominated by the Apple iPad, although there is a fair number of other brands around, but those did not really make the cultural as well as numerical impact that the iPad did. In fact, recent statistics has shown that the iPad actually cannibalized up to 50% of notebook sales for certain retailers in the US, which is a whole lot when you think about it. Whoever said that the tablet market was a niche one, and it was separate from the notebook/netbook demographic? Well, the Galaxy Tab on paper does look like a champion, and it is set to arrive Stateside via Verizon Wireless in the coming weeks. More details on its brilliant hardware in the extended post, so read on.
